The CFX5 series features an easy-to-read high-resolution colour display panel which states the temperature and status of the cool box. Several protection systems are built into the display, including a scratch-resistant cover and IP65 rated housing to protect against dust and water splashes, so you can feel confident wherever you go. Dometic have taken a great deal of care with the design and development of the electronics only used in the CFX series. It is designed to be as energy efficient as possible. When the Dometic CFX5 55 starts up the compressor is gently started to save energy. If the desired temperature is not met within an expected short period of time, there is a turbo cooler which then comes on automatically to boost the compressor speed until the pre-set temperature is reached. Once met, the software and electronics switches the compressor back into energy-saving mode.
Using the most advanced cooling technology, the Dometic CFX5 freezes down to –22 °C / –7 °F while using less power than a 60 W lightbulb. Connect to the 12V/24V DC outlet in your vehicle to roam free without worry.
